Preparing for Hurricane Season

June 1-November 30 is hurricane season. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality offers tools and resources to help plan for emergency response and provide needed health care during a hurricane or other natural disasters. The tools address patient evacuation, standards of care, and the unique needs of nursing homes.
