APTA is featured in the American Medical Association's (AMA) August 24 radio segment and news article on the Office of Inspector General's (OIG) recent report on physician "incident to" services.

Aug 25, 2009 9:30 AM - The report, released earlier this month, found that 49% of rehabilitative services performed by nonphysicians were furnished by staff not trained as therapists and who the OlG found to be unqualified. APTA President Scott Ward, PT, PhD, describes the report’s findings as "shocking" and applauds the OIG for its diligence in finding and putting forth the information.
